A year after his death, the void he left remains unbridgeable, but Rossella and Paolo Simoncelli have tried to mitigate this void by writing “Our Sic”, the splendid book that only a mother and father could have given shape to. Marco gave so much to the world of motorbikes and was an irreplaceable testimonial in the car world, so there aren't many ways to try to repay him or to demonstrate the affection we all feel for him. Here because Honda Italy e honda auto, on the anniversary of that tragic October 23rd, they decided to purchase 300 copies of "Our Sic".
The copies will then be distributed to the network of Honda car and motorbike dealers in order to renew in as many people as possible the warmth and passion that the champion from Coriano so spontaneously instilled in everyone. The memory of Simoncelli will certainly not stop here. The imminent occasion of Eicma - the Milan motorcycle show - will also be the ideal context to join all enthusiasts in remembering the beloved Italian rider once again. The gesture will be symbolic because the motorbike itself will be put back into the hands of Rossella and Paolo Simoncelli at the same time. Marco's parents will thus immediately regain possession of the motorbike HRC (Honda Racing Corporation) had it personalized with the colors of the great Sic to pay homage to his memory.
