EICMA 2025: Lambretta presents the Elettra S, the first electric scooter, and the new J [PHOTOS]

Double innovation combining past and future for the historic two-wheel brand

Lambretta, a historic brand that has become an icon of Italian style and engineering, presents itself to EICMA 2025, with two new features that unite past and future: Electra S, first electric scooter completely developed by Lambretta, and new Lambretta J, modern heir of the beloved 1964 “Junior”.

Elettra S: range up to 120 km

La Lambretta Elettra S is the new elegant and personality-rich scooter with which the brand enters the world of electric mobility. Powered by a 4 kW (6 kW peak) permanent magnet synchronous motor and 101 Nm of maximum torque, the Lambretta Elettra S accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in 10 seconds, reaching 90 km/h top speedPowering the electric motor is a 4,5 kWh NMC battery that gives the scooter arange up to 120 km, with a full charge in 5 hours and 40 minutes if connected to a domestic socket or 80% in just over 3 hours with fast charging.

Lambretta Elettra S

The design of the Elettra S remains faithful to tradition, with the electric scooter weighing just 132 kg, featuring a steel body, high-resolution TFT display and full LED lighting. The front tie-rod fork and the new rear monoshock ensure balanced and dynamic riding. The market launch of the Lambretta Elettra S is scheduled for the second half of 2026, with a indicative price of €6.500.

Lambretta J: the return of the Junior

Another novelty revealed at EICMA is the new Lambretta J, a model inspired by the historic 1964 J that combines retro lines and modern technology. Available with 125 and 200 cc engines, four-stroke and liquid-cooled, the Lambretta J is characterised by its wide rectangular sides, hexagonal headlight and long, slender saddle, elements that recall the old J, as well as by the metal bodywork and solid chassis with a front fork with tie rod and double shock absorber. The new Lambretta J will debut on the market in spring 2026 with a indicative starting price of €4.500
