Ducati: production of the Diavel 1260 has begun in Bologna
The new version of the Borgo Panigale naked will be available from mid-February at dealers
After the presentation at EICMA 2018, the new Ducati Diavel 1260 officially entered production and the first bike rolled off the production line on Friday 21 January. As per tradition, the new bike was welcomed with a toast and a speech by Ducati CEO, Claudio Domenicali.
The new naked produced in Borgo Panigale is powered by the new Testastretta DVT 1262 engine. The chassis and electronics are new with the introduction, among other things, of Bosch Cornering ABS. However, one of the elements that most distinguish the Diavel has remained unchanged, we are talking about the 240 mm wide and 17 inch diameter rear tire. (For all the technical characteristics see here).
The Diavel 1260 is also available in the sportier S version, characterized by the precious Öhlins suspension, dedicated wheels, as well as the "Ducati Quick Shift up & down Evo" as standard. The bike will be available from mid-February at Ducati dealers at a price of 19.990 euros. The S version will cost 22.990 euros.
