The experience of the Ducati Corse department arrives on the road with a DTC software update available for all versions of the Panigale 1299. The EVO DTC, where EVO stands for Evolution, boasts 8 levels of intervention with the addition of the new "Spin On" function Demand”.

The new Ducati Traction Control EVO, the result of the experience gained by Ducati in MotoGP and SBK, is now also available for Panigale 1299 models produced from 2015 to 2016.
Il DTC EVO it is based on an algorithm that makes system interventions more precise and faster. By interfacing with the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) Bosch, the DTC EVO uses the estimated value of the motorcycle's lean angle to calculate at any moment the intervention necessary to guarantee the ideal rear tire slip depending on the selected EVO DTC level.

The DTC EVO boasts 8 different intervention levels and in the first two levels, "1" and "2", we find the new function “Spin On Demand”, which allows the rider, via throttle control during the lean phases, to request greater slip of the rear tire so as to be able to close the trajectory by pivoting on the front.

By directly contacting the nearest Ducati Store, every 1299 Panigale owner can update the DTC EVO. The upgrade is available, as an accessory, for the 1299 Panigale and 1299 Panigale S models from the 2015 and 2016 range.
