Acerbis Galaxy Body Armor on display as an excellent product of Italian design in Taiwan

The protective solution Acerbis Galaxy Body Armor which protects the chest, shoulders, back and arms is displayed as an excellent product of Italian design in the context ofItalian Design Day 2023, an ongoing exhibition in Taiwan from 23 March to 5 April which brings together interesting Italian products.

The exposure

The exhibition of products that have partially obtained the prestigious recognition Compasso d'Oro and partly representatives of the excellence of Italian design is accessible to the public 23 from March to April 5 2023 at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei. The exhibition is organized by the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office and by ADI the Association for Industrial Design, in collaboration with the Taiwan Design Research Institute.

The Compasso d'Oro Award, established in 1954, is the oldest and most authoritative global recognition in the field of design. It is awarded by the Association for Industrial Design aiming to reward and enhance the quality of Italian design.

The Acerbis product on display

Galaxy Body Armor it is a chest protector for off-road activities and is the result of the union of different materials, shapes and technologies that allow for protection and comfort.
In the definition of Galaxy Body Armour, curated by MM Design by Alex Terzariol, inspiration was taken from nature. When we think of protection we usually imagine a nest, explaining the union of thin filaments which, intertwined, give shape to a robust and light structure. The threads make up a mesh that protects the contents, an aspect that highlights the care taken to give shape and create this protection.
